Srikakulam: Several elderly people and physically challenged persons poured their problems to YSRCP chief YS Jaganmohan Reddy on Tuesday.

They complained that they were not getting social security pensions announced by the state government due to negligent attitude of the government and local officials, complained old age and physically challenged persons when they met YSRCP chief YS Jaganmohan Reddy during his padayatra in Veeragattam mandal in Palakonda Assembly segment on Tuesday.

Jagan continued his Praja Sankalpa Yatra through Uppivada, Venkampeta, Regulapadu, Thoodi, Palametta and Vandava villages. On the occasion, old age and physically challenged persons in these villages complained to Jagan that the government did not grant them pensions. After listening to their woes, Jagan assured them to clear their problems soon after becoming chief minister.

Aspirants of teacher posts also met Jagan and asked his intervention in the enhancement of teacher posts in the present DSC recruitment process.
Muslim minorities, tribal associations representatives, advocates also explained their problems to Jagan and seek his support. Responding to them, he assured to solve all issues after assuming power in the state.
