Cash prizes for talented cops distributed

Eluru: West Godavari district Superintendent of Police M Ravi Prakash distributed prizes to police personnel who exhibited talent in dealing with several cases here on Friday.

Kukkunuru Circle Inspector D Bhagawan Prasad, Sub-Inspector Madhu Venkata Raju, ASI Y Srinivasa Rao, Head Constables, Constables of Polavaram sub-division were given prizes for arresting three accused in a case sans evidence.

Similarly, under Jangareddigudem sub-division, CI Balaraju, SI M Surya Bhagawan and other staff were honoured with cash prize and appreciation letter for seizing banned gutkha.

The programme was attended by policemen, policewomen and others.
