Nellore: AP Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu thundered the Centre for disregarding its assurances to the bifurcated state and warned that they would achieve them through concerted efforts uniting all anti-BJP forces in the country. He categorically said they would select a senior person among the front as the Prime Minister who promises to implement the assurances after bifurcation.
“We have many seniors across the country and we can rule in well manner. We don’t want to bear this kind of attitude from the NDA. The Centre is encouraging some states and taking no notice of issues of others. We prove in the coming elections that what Telugu people can do,” said Chandrababu Naidu during Dharma Porata Deeksha in Nellore held at SVGS College grounds on Tuesday.
The Chief Minister delivered the speech like a presentation supported by video clippings of the Prime Minister Modi and others what had been articulated earlier and how they are behaving supporting the regional parities like YSR Congress and Janasena. Chandrababu Babu said now people are remembering meetings of the Prime Minister at Tirupati, Nellore, and Amaravati what he had promised and how he has been voluntarily disregarding them taking back even funds allocated to Andhra Pradesh.
He said the Centre had provided Rs.3,900 cr for a deficit finances of Rs. 16,000 Cr. They have given only Rs. 1,500 Cr for capital construction though the state is generating revenue of Rs. 6,000 Cr from the state to the centre through taxes. He said the boastings of the Prime Minister Modi were from successes of the state in terms of ease of doing, ease of living and many others.
“You violated the Reorganization Act disregarding assurances to the State. No support from you. So, we decided to construct our own our ports, steel plant and others. You allocated Rs. 3,000 Cr for Patel statue and no such allocation to the state. Even small cities have been awarded Metro Projects and disregarded such facility for Amaravati and Vizag. Even you are unable to consider flight services to the capital city,” said Chandrababu.
He lambasted on IT raids and made the Prime Minister responsible for such acts. He said corruption charges against PM’s aides in CBI are shameful in democracy as the constitutional institutions have been made tainted ones.
He said alliance with the Congress with which they were having 40-years-old rivalry has been a ‘democratic compulsion.’ He also said YSR congress and Janasena are two adopted sons of the Prime Minister who were failing to raise voice against him. He also said the centre is having soft corner against even Telangana. He said the BJP would not get a single vote in the state and appealed to the participants to strive hard for winning all 25 LS seats across the state for teaching the Center a strong lesson.
