Amaravati: TDP president N Chandrababu Naidu cautioned the deceased leader Gali MuddukrishnamaNaidu’s sons to sort out the differences between them, otherwise the party ticket for Nagari Assembly Constituency will be given to a new leader in the ensuing general elections.
Chandrababu Naidu, during a review meeting on Nagari constituency at his residence at Undavalli on Saturday, assured that he would consider the names of MuddukrishnamaNaidu sons. At the same time, he cautioned them to sort out differences between them. Muddukrishnama Naidu is survived by two sons - Bhanu Prakash and Jagadish Prakash - and a daughter Lavanya. Both Jagadish and Bhanu have been maintaining two separate groups in the constituency.
While Jagadish has been working with his mother Saraswathi, Bhanu has another group. Chandrababu Naidu already gave MLC seat to Saraswathi after the sudden demise of Muddukrishnama Naidu recently. In the meeting on Saturday, Chandrababu Naidu interacted with more than 25 leaders from the Nagari Assembly constituency. He gave two-days’ time to Jagadish and Bhanu to resolve their differences. He will talk on the issue with them on Monday. For that meeting, he also asked Lavanya and her husband to attend along with Bhanu, Jagadish and Saraswathi.Chandrababu Naidu also suggested Bhanu to be cordial with his mother.
At the same time, party president said that he will take feedback on the two leaders, after that he would decide. He said that if they continue the groups in the constituency then the party ticket will be allotted to another leader. Meanwhile, Chandrababu Naidu said that the YSRCP sitting MLA S Roja had been giving tough competition to the party in the constituency, hence all TDP leaders must work together to win the segment.
