Kovvuru: West Godavari In-charge Minister Prattipati Pulla Rao has informed that about 1.5 lakh people will attend for Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu’s ‘Dharma Porata Deeksha’ programme scheduled to be held at Tadepalligudem on September 29. The programme is being organised to sensitise people on the betrayal of the Central government in according Special Category Status and other benefits offered to AP under bifurcation act.
Addressing the media here on Thursday, the minister said that the CM was striving for the development of the State. However, opposition parties had been trying to tarnish his image by making false allegations against him. Naidu has an ambition to make state synonymous for development on world map. The minister informed that Naidu had taken up Jaladeeksha to provide water for drinking and farm lands.
He had been working for 55 irrigation projects. He had launched three projects in one day. The opposition parties had not mending their attitude even though the courts chided them not to use courts for political mileage, he added.Excise Minister Jawahar said that the Centre had cheated people by not fulfilling the promises made under bifurcation act. Labour Minister P Satyanarayana, municipal chairman Radharani and others were present.
