Doctors stage protest at GGH in Guntur

Guntur: Doctors working in the GGH and Guntur Medical College protested to mount pressure on the government to accept their demands immediately.

They squatted in front of GGH superintendent table in the hospital on Tuesday and protested.

Following strike call given by the state association, they boycotted their duties and protested.

Their demands include time bound promotions and implementation of seventh PRC recommendations.

Later, they submitted a memorandum to the GGH superintendent Dr DS Raju Naidu.

He deputed doctors working in the AP Medical and Health Department and AP Vaidya Vidhana Parishat for Out-patient services at the GGH.
