Two electrocuted
In a tragic incident, two persons, including a woman, were electrocuted at Ukuturu village in Gampalagudem mandal of Krishna district on Tuesday The deceased persons were identified as K Anjaiah 52 and his daughterinlaw Chandravathi 21
Vijayawada: In a tragic incident, two persons, including a woman, were electrocuted at Ukuturu village in Gampalagudem mandal of Krishna district on Tuesday. The deceased persons were identified as K Anjaiah (52) and his daughter-in-law Chandravathi (21).
According to Gampalagudem police, the tragic incident occurred on Tuesday when Chandravathi was washing clothes. She came in contact with a live electric wire and was electrocuted. Her father-in-law Anjaiah tried to save her and seriously wounded due to electrocution.
Both died of serious burn injuries. Gampalagudem police registered a case and took up investigation. The bodies were shifted to the government hospital for post-mortem. A pall of gloom descended on the village with the demise of two villagers.
