Vijayawada: Actor, director and producer of the movie ‘Annadata Sukhibhava’ R Narayana Murthy said that everyone should watch the movie which portrays the problems faced by the farmers in the state.

He participated in a programme here on Thursday and interacted with the media and briefed about the movie.

He said that the movie was made under the banner ‘Sneha Chitra Pictures’ and was scheduled to release on September 7. The movie has seven songs and the audio was already released and was a big hit.

He said that Gaddar, Vangapandu Prasad Rao, Goreti Venkanna, Suddala Ashok Teja wrote the songs and were sung by SP Balasubramanyam,

Vandemataram Srinivas, Gaddar, V Prasad Rao, G Venkanna and Vijaya.

He said that the film revolves round the problems faced by the farmers and recalled that 3.25 lakh farmers committed suicide as they were incurring loss on agriculture.

He said that farmers’ deaths should be treated as national calamity and the State and Central governments should implement Swaminathan Committee recommendations to save the farmers and also provide MSP to their produce and give a free hand to sell directly to the buyers without the involvement of middle man, said Murthy.
