Srikakulam: Social activists launched study on chronic kidney diseases in Uddanam area in Srikakulam district on Saturday.

World Bank former programme officer Mukalla Ramesh Chakravarthy, Amudalavalasa former municipal chairman Boddepalli Ramesh, Uddanam area doctor Kalyan interacted with kidney patients and their family members at Iddivanipalem and Yerra Govindapuram villages in Kaviti mandal.

They collected details on chronic kidney disease and its impact on their families socially and financially.

Speaking on the occasion, they vowed to continue their study in all the villages in Uddanam area and said that they have no political affiliations.

“We will carry the issue before international for a to find out permanent solution”, they explained to The Hans India over phone on their study.
