Andhra Pradesh Congress Committee APCC VicePresident N Tulasi Reddy said the BJPled NDA government has no moral right to continue in the power as it was responsible for destroying the constitutional rights of common people
Kadapa: Andhra Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC) Vice-President N Tulasi Reddy said the BJP-led NDA government has no moral right to continue in the power as it was responsible for destroying the constitutional rights of common people.
Speaking to the media in Vempalle on Thursday, Tulasi Reddy said people are facing difficulties due to unilateral decisions taken by the Modi government like demonetisation, implementation of GST, diluting banking sector, hike in petrol and diesel prices. “Atrocities against women and minorities were on rise in BJP-led NDA government rule,” he criticised.
The APCC leader expressed anguish over educated youth following the path of violence due to failure of the Centre in creation of jobs and not tackling unemployment issue. He came down heavily on the NDA government for not implementing the AP Reorganisation Act.
“The TDP and YSRCP failed in getting Centre’s nod for Special Category Status (SCS) and other bifurcation promises to Andhra Pradesh,” he slammed. Party district secretary Dr Subrahmanyam and other party leaders were present.
