Guntur: Vinukonda MLA G V Anjaneyulu distributed cooked rice for Mid-Day meals programme at Vinukonda Government Junior College in Vinukonda on Wednesday.
Speaking on this occasion, he said the aim of the government was to increase enrollment in the government junior colleges in the state.
He said that under this scheme the government was supplying food to 1.5 lakh students in the 450 government junior colleges in the state.
He felt that this scheme was useful to the students. The government led by the Chief Minister, N Chandrababu Naidu was committed for the welfare of people and implementing several welfare schemes.
He urged the eligible to avail benefits of welfare schemes.
