Reacting on BJP leader and Rajya Sabha member G V L Narasimha Raos allegations against TDP and Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu, AP Planning Board ViceChairman Kutumba Rao said that there was no chance to divert funds from PD Accounts
Amaravati: Reacting on BJP leader and Rajya Sabha member G V L Narasimha Rao’s allegations against TDP and Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu, AP Planning Board Vice-Chairman Kutumba Rao said that there was no chance to divert funds from PD Accounts.
Addressing a press conference at the Secretariat on Tuesday, he said that the BJP leaders were misleading public for political gains and maintained that all other States were following the AP model in maintaining these accounts.
Kutumba Rao said that BJP Rajya Sabha member G V L Narasimha Rao did not know even how the PD Accounts work, but was making criticism against State government. He said that GVL stands for Global Viral Liar and always tells lies.
He explained that all the government accounts will be managed through PD Accounts, including the courts’ Accounts. “It seems, GVL would also suspect the Courts’ PD Accounts also,” Kutumba Rao added.
He said that the State government was ready for cross checking of any PD Account by any authorised official in the country and demanded that the BJP leaders should come out with evidence. Kutumba Rao further said that if they prove any corrupt allegations made by the BJP, then the TDP leaders were ready to go to jail.
At the same time, he also demanded that the Central government and Prime Minister Narendra Modi conduct a probe into the controversial Rafale deal. He said that if the BJP leaders had courage in proving their honesty in Rafale Deal, then they should order a probe into it immediately.
