Marathon song fest held

Rajamahendravaram: The marathon song fest which was held in Sri Venkateswara Anam Kala Kendram here on Sunday enthralled the audience.

As many as 50 singers sung at about 100 songs including melodies from various movies. The programme was commenced at 12 noon and continued for 12 hours.

Nelako Punnami Samsta conducted the programme to mark its entry into third year, under the aegis of Malladi Rajeswara Rao.

Malladi Balakrishna Murthi started the organisation two years ago to encouraged singers and also to inculcate the habit of learning music in the city.
