Kakinada: The District Environment Impact Assessment Authority has given its nod to issue environmental clearance to five sand reaches in the district in its recent meeting, which was chaired by Collector Karthikeya Misra.
The five sand reaches are located at Vemagiri, Jonnada, Tadipudi, Dindi and Pillanka villages. The decision was taken on the recommendations of district level expert committee.
Officials of Mines and Geology, Forest, Groundwater department were present.
