Prove land encroachment allegation: MLA Gorantla Buchaiah Choudary to Routhu Suryaprakasa Rao
Rural MLA Gorantla Buchaiah Choudary has posed a challenge to former MLA and YSRCP city coordinator Routhu Suryaprakasa Rao to prove his allegation that he encroached temple land
Rajamahendravaram: Rural MLA Gorantla Buchaiah Choudary has posed a challenge to former MLA and YSRCP city coordinator Routhu Suryaprakasa Rao to prove his allegation that he encroached temple land.
Speaking to reporters at Press Club here on Friday, he dismissed allegations of his political rival.
In counter attack, he claimed that he had necessary evidence with him which discloses land encroachment by Routhu Suryaprakasa Rao.
“As many as eight acres of land was under the control of Satyavolu Papa Rao from the year 1950. But, in the year 2012, Chenna Sesha Rao registered the land in the name of Congress leader Dasi Venkat Rao, the supporter of former MLA Routhu Suryaprakasa Rao.
Later, Dasi Venkat Rao registered the eight acres of land in the name of Routhu Sowbhagya Lakshmi and the issue was in the court and the registrations held at Nidadavolu,” the MLA alleged.
His brother Gorantla Santha Ram purchased 1.74 acre in Dowleswaram which was continuous registration from the year 1948. Meanwhile, 16 acres of land of Kanchumarthi family was registered in Vijayawada instead of Rajamahendravaram, he alleged.
On dole to unemployed youth, the MLA said that first of its kind in the country, Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu has announced a monthly remuneration of Rs 1,000 to unemployed in the state which will come into force from September.
A majority of election promises were fulfilled in the state and the people were expressing happiness over the implementation of welfare schemes, he added.
TDP leaders YVG Raidu, K Srinivas, KV Sekhar and others were present.
