Vijayawada: Andhra Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC) vice-president S Sailajanath alleged that the Telugu Desam government has grossly neglected the medical and health services in the state and poor people are facing many problems due to non-availability of medical treatment in government hospitals.
Addressing the media at the State party office here on Thursday, he said the Congress government had launched Rajiv Arogyasri with the aim of providing health for all. But the present TDP government is neglecting the Arogya Sri and other medical services.
Sailajanath further said the Congress government had launched 104 and 108 services to help the patients and accident victims. Many people are dying in the state due to lack of proper medical care and facilities in the hospitals across AP.
He recalled the demand to make Hyderabad as the joint capital of two states AP and Telangana for 10 years. He said the TDP government is not taking measures to help the Telugu people to get medical treatment in Hyderabad.
