Peddapuram: YSRC president YS Jaganmohan Reddy on his 221-day Praja Sankalpa Yatra confined to Peddapuram town on Thursday. The constituency was represented by Deputy Chief Minister N Chinarajappa. Jagan started the yatra from Dargah Centre and continued up to Kattamuru Road on the outskirts of Peddapuram.
En route he was greeted by many people particularly girl students and elderly persons. En route a teacher’s couple Ashok Kumar and Janaki informed Jagan that they could complete their studies with the fee reimbursement scheme extended by former chief minister YS Rajasekhara Reddy.
The couple wanted Jagan to perform Aksharabyasam to their son. Jagan obliged their request much to the happiness of the teacher couple. A couple from Visakhapatnam Appala Naidu and Devi approached Jagan seeking his help for treatment of their son suffering with cancer.
Jagan assured the couple that he would extend financial assistance for the treatment. Jagan concluded his yatra at Kattamuru cross roads. According to reports, Jagan will resume his yatra on Saturday because of his preoccupations at Hyderabad on Friday.
