Chandrababu resorting to political drama on special status: Vijay Sai Reddy

YSRCP MP Vijay Sai Reddy has once again attacked Chandrababu Naidu, who is fighting with his back to the wall on the issue of special category status. He asked Chandrababu Naidu to stop resorting to political dramas.

He said he had given a notice for a discussion in Rajya Sabha on the special category status and the bifurcation related assurances and that the matter would be taken up for discussion this week.

Talking to mediapersons, he said the TDP was not sincere about special category status. He said the special package was given only at the instance of Chandrababu Naidu and said Chandrababu even wanted legal status to special package. He said the State Government’s plan to approach the High Court on the issue of special category status, was faulty and no less than another political drama. He said if he really wants to take up the issue, Chandrababu should knock the doors of the Supreme Court by invoking article 300.

He said not just the BJP, but even the TDP and the Congress have done grave injustice to Andhra Pradesh. He said Kiran Kumar Reddy, who as chief minister had bartered away the interests of AP, was now pontificating on special status. He said his party would back anyone who fights for special status to AP.
