Rajamahendravaram: Rural MLA Gorantla Buchaiah Choudary has said that Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu was trying to create more jobs to the unemployed youth in the state cutting across caste and creed lines.
Inaugurating exclusive job mela for Kapu community unemployed youth on the premises of government college here on Sunday, he advised the unemployed youth of Kapu community to avail this opportunity to get jobs.
Kapu Welfare and Development Corporation is conducting the job mela. The candidates should join in the jobs by not giving importance to salary and place.
Instead of sitting idle, it was better to join in job which helps to build their future and gives experience. Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu was particular to help Kapu community in all fronts and constituted Kapu Welfare and Development Corporation. The government was giving an amount of Rs 10 lakh for overseas studies to Kapu youth.
Education was the only way to come up in life, elevate themselves to higher positions and helps acquire knowledge that was not stolen by anyone. The government sanctioned Rs 1,000 crore to Kapu Welfare and Development Corporation this year, he added.
Mayor Pantham Rajani Sesha Sai advised the candidates to select the companies as per their interest and advised them to join skill development institutions if they fails to get jobs.
Kapu Welfare and Development Corporation managing director Shiva Shankar said last year about 63,000 were benefitted from the corporation. As many as 37 companies and skill development institutions had been participating in the job mela, he explained.
