AP NGOs’ association district leaders Krishna Reddy, K Siva Kumar and Manjesh took part in the protest programme. Their demands include equal pay for equal work, regularising the services of contract workers and merging them with the power utilities, scrapping of third-party system in power sector and payment of Rs 20 lakh as ex-gratia to those who were killed while on job.
