Swachh Sarvekshan team expresses satisfaction

Rajahmundry: The Swachh Sarvekshan team that is inspecting various important places in the city has expressed its satisfaction over the sanitation, health and hygiene conditions prevailed in Rajahmundry on Friday.

The Karvy organisation team under the supervision of V Satya Sai extensively inspected all the fifty divisions in the city for the past four days. The team members visited schools, shopping malls, parks, hospitals, compost centres, railway station, bus station and other important places and sent those pictures to the central command centre at Noida.

In this connection, the team members led by Satya Sai met the Corporation Commissioner Vijaya Rama Raju here on Friday. Swachh Sarvekshan members informed that the residents of Rajahmundry were giving priority to sanitation. The team expressed their satisfaction over the sanitation in the city.

Speaking on this occasion, Commissioner Vijaya Rama Raju said that their staff's commitment to make city clean was established. He further said that their staff educated and created awareness on Swachh Bharat for the past six months. In this context, Commissioner ordered the staff to shift the stray cattle to the nearest rehabilitation centre when they roam on the city roads. He also said that they have given clear instructions regarding the stray cattle in the city.

The Additional Commissioner Satyanarayana, Revenue Inspector Chapala Srinivasa Rao, Sanitary Supervisors Narayanarao and Srinivasa Rao accompanied the Swachh Sarvekshan team.
