District Superintendent of Police Vishal Gunni made it clear that there is no permission for cock-fights in the district during the festival days.
Kakinada: District Superintendent of Police Vishal Gunni made it clear that there is no permission for cock-fights in the district during the festival days.
In a press release on Wednesday, he informed that four special parties were established to control the gambling, Gundata, Pekata (cards), disgusting and indecent dancing programmes and cockfights in the district.
He also said that they have issued orders to all the DSP rank officers to the SI rank officers in the district to prevent and control such types of gambling and betting on cock-fights.
He further said that they have issued orders to book cases against the history-sheeters.
