Tanuku: The Adikavi Nannayya University (AKNU) basketball women team coaching camp was held at SKSD Mahila Kalasala in Tanuku. The team will participate in the South Zone Inter-University Women’s Tournament in Chennai to be organised by Anna University, according to SKSD Mahila Kalasala Principal P Aruna.

The AKNU team members SK Hafijunnisa (Mukteswaram PET College), Ch Swapna, P Madhuri, J Sandhya (St Teresa College, Eluru), T Papa, T Pavani, D Devi Anusha (SKSD Mahila Kalasala, Tanuku), E Uma Maheswari, P Sarala Kumari, K Mahima, (SVKPR and DR KS Raju APS College, Penugonda), K Deepthi Priya (PR Govt College, Kakinada), N Sai Bharani (Sir CRR Women’s College, Eluru).

G Kusuma Kumari, K Rajyalakshmi are acting as team manager and coaches. SKSD college correspondent and secretary Chitturi Subba Rao, treasurer Nandigam Sudhakar, administrative officer D Subba Rao, prinicpal P Aruna, vice-principals B Naga Padmavathi, DM Neeraja, basketball coach Balla Prasad congratulated the team members.
