Rajamahendravaram: TDP corporator Kuraganti Satish has assured residents of 44th and 47th divisions of the Rajamahendravaram Municipal Corporation (RMC) to discuss upon the order to vacate their houses with the officials on Friday.

Speaking to the residents in the meeting, the corporator promised to convince the officials to implement the resolution passed in the Council in 2007 relating to the construction of G+2 houses by reducing 80 feet road to 40 feet in Indira Satya Nagar.
“As a TDP corporator, I agree to the resolution set by the officials. The issue will also be taken to the notice of party leadership if necessary,” he said.

He advised the residents not to worry in this regard.Lok Satta Udyama Samsta coordinator MV Raj Gopal questioned the corporation officials for pressurising the residents to vacate their homes. “The Lok Satta would stand by them if necessary,” he said.

Later, Kula Nirmulana Samithi president K Raju, AP Mahila Samakya leader Y Lakshmi, city Congress president NV Srinivas, BC Welfare Association women wing general secretary K Harika along with the residents submitted a memorandum to Sub-Collector.
