Mangalabodi modernisation works to begin in Jan
Mandapeta Municipal Chairman Chundru Sri Vara Prakash informed that the long-pending modernisation works of Mangalabodi drain works will begin in January. He toured in the third and the fourth municipal wards in the town on Saturday.
Kakinada: Mandapeta Municipal Chairman Chundru Sri Vara Prakash informed that the long-pending modernisation works of Mangalabodi drain works will begin in January. He toured in the third and the fourth municipal wards in the town on Saturday.
Speaking on the occasion, he clarified that they would win an award at the national level as the Mandapeta Municipality was going to compete in the national level cleanliness programme of Swachh Sarvekshan, he added.
The chairman reiterated that hygiene of Mandapeta people was his main concern. He further told that he was touring in municipal wards to create awareness in people on the process of implementation of the double dustbin system. The people in the third and fourth wards complained to the chairman that their streets were submerging in the water in the rainy season, and asked the chairman to raise the level of the drains.
Vara Prakash created awareness on dry and wet garbage to the ward people.
Bandi Govindu, Chapala Veerababu, Mandapalli Dorababu, Sirangu Eswar, Health Assistant Mutyala Sathi Raju and Municipal Sanitary staff accompanied the chairman.
