Amaravati Balotsav comes to a close

The three-day Amaravati Balotsav concluded at a programme held at Krishnaveni Talent School here on Friday.
Vijayawada: The three-day Amaravati Balotsav concluded at a programme held at Krishnaveni Talent School here on Friday.
Addressing a meeting held on this occasion, Krishnaveni Talent School chairman Chigurupati Vara Prasad said that this type of competitions would bring out innate talent in the students to encourage talented students. Former MLC KS Lakshmana Rao said that though first time, they had conducted Balotsav very well and stressed on need to conduct this type of programmes.
Balotsav organising committee president SP Rama Raju said that though senior citizens were in the committee, they conducted the programme very well. He said that they had conducted the programme with a view to preserving our ancient culture.
