Recharge for your Idea connection without sharing the number

With its focus on providing the mobile phone customers with unique and innovative service experience, Idea Cellular has launched the new ‘Private Recharge’ feature for its prepaid customers. Aimed at letting customers maintain privacy by not having to give away their phone number, this unique feature allows users to recharge their Idea numbers by using a one-time code, in just one simple step.

To make a private recharge, Idea customers are required to SMS ‘Code’ to 55515 (toll free). Upon doing so, they will immediately receive a unique 10 digit code which can be given to the retailer. Using that unique code, the retailer can then directly credit the benefits of the recharge to the customer’s mobile number. This feature can be used for any kind of recharge – top-up, special tariff vouchers, data packs or SMS packs.
