Bajaj has been planning to relaunch the Pulsar 200 NS owing to tough competition in the 200cc segment. This category is very popular nowadays considering the fact that bikes in this segment have the right power to zip through traffic in the city and are also good for occasional weekend rides.

The 200cc category is currently ruled by the TVS Apache 200 followed by the KTM Duke 200 and the newly launched Yamaha FZ25. Now coming back to the Bajaj Pulsar 200 NS, the motorcycle uses the same engine as the previous model. The engine used here is a 199.5cc unit which is derived from the KTM Duke 200 and is good enough to produce 23.17 BHP of max power and 18.3 Nm of torque.

The 2017 Pulsar 200 NS gets new graphics and comes with 17-inch alloy wheels, it is fitted with MRF NyloGrip tyres at both the ends. The motorbike also gets AHO (Automatic Headlamps On) feature which will soon become compulsory in India. The Pulsar 200 NS misses out on fuel injection and still comes with a carburetor engine, there is no option of ABS either.

Bajaj has started accepting bookings for the 2017 Pulsar 200 NS. The date of the deliveries to commence has still not been announced. This is Bajaj’s first launch after their flagship model, the Dominar 400 commenced sales last month.
