Drawing competitions were conducted by Oil Companies and petroleum conservation Research Association (PCRA) and Department of Civil supplies at Tummalapalli Kalakshetram on Monday. This evoked a good response from the students, who enthusiastically participated and exhibited their skills in drawing of images on oil conservation.

The Oil companies are conducting a month long campaign from January 16 to February 15 on oil conservation. Meetings, drawing, essay writing and quiz competitions are being conducted all over India as part of the month long campaign by Union and state Governments. State level co-ordinator of oil industry, Government of Andhra Pradesh, GKKV Umashankar has explained the importance of oil conservation.

Students of Nirmala Convent, Mangalagiri, performed Kuchipudi dance, which enthralled the audience. The organisers have distributed prizes to the winning students. Sri Lakshmi, Madhuri, G Srilakshmi, R Harshita, D Naga Prasanna, V Bhavyasri, G Tejasri, T Girija and others performed Kuchipudi dance.
