Vignay, Varuni win titles

P Vignay Reddy of Reserve Bank of India (RBI) and Varuni Jaiswal of Gujarati Seva Mandal (GSM) won the men and women singles titles of the 30th St Paul’s annual State ranking table tennis tournament at St Paul’s High School in Hyderabad late Tuesday night.

In the men final, Vignay beat Aman of Income-Tax 4-1 while Varuni defeated Naina Jaiswal of Lal Bahadur Stadium 4-0 in the women’s final. SFR Snehit of Global Table Tennis Academy (GTTA) won the youth and junior boys titles. In the boys youth final, he defeated teammate Saroj Siril 4-1 and later he beat Arvind of AWA 4-0.
