AP Govt sector beckons IT professionals

There are ample career opportunities for IT graduates in various government departments and public sector undertakings in the country, said PVSS Gangadhar, District Informatics Officer of Rayagada in Odisha.

Delivering a guest lecture on `IT Careers in Government Sector’ at PB Siddhartha College of Arts and Science in the city on Wednesday, he urged students to realise the fact that there are better career prospects in the public sector compared to the private sector and explore the opportunities fully for their bright future. Siddhartha College principal MVN Padma Rao, Head of Department of Computer Science K Sridhar and faculty members were present.
