Young Indians (Yi) Vijayawada Chapter and Acharya Nagarjuna University (ANU) have come together to offer Yuva programme to the varsity students. Representatives of Yi Vijayawada Chapter held a meeting with Prof A Rajendra Prasad, Vice-Chancellor of ANU, in this regard on Sunday.

Young Indians (Yi) Vijayawada Chapter and Acharya Nagarjuna University (ANU) have come together to offer Yuva programme to the varsity students. Representatives of Yi Vijayawada Chapter held a meeting with Prof A Rajendra Prasad, Vice-Chancellor of ANU, in this regard on Sunday.

Rahul Mirchandani, past chairman of Yi National and Executive Director of Aries Agro Pvt Ltd, briefed the V-C about Yuva, its activities in India and youth alliances across the globe. The ANU V-C expressed his willingness to collaborate with Yi Vijayawada Chapter to offer Yuva programme.

Tarun Kakani, Chair of Yuva, Yi Vijayawada Chapter, outlined its initiatives to bridge the gap between industry and academia. Yi Vijayawada Chapter and ANU have agreed in principle to sign a Memorandum of Understanding on Yuva programme in July and organise an orientation session for students.

KRS Sambasiva Rao, Rector of ANU, R Sivaram Prasad, Head of Department of Commerce, P Chandan Patnaik, Head of CII Vijayawada Zone, and P Bhanu Chandar, Co Chair of Yuva, Yi Vijayawada Chapter, were also present on the occasion.
