Warangal: TDP Warangal district unit president Adaboina Baswa Reddy has hinted at the party passing a resolution favouring statehood to Telangana at its upcoming Mahanadu at Hyderabad. Addressing a press conference at Hanamkonda on Saturday, he made it clear that TDP was committed for the formation of Telangana state. It was the Congress-led United Progressive Alliance government that should take a decision on the creation of a new State. He asked the critics to wait for such an event to happen. He asked critics of TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu not to doubt the intentions of his party on Telangana. He trained guns at TRS chief K Chandrasekhara Rao for using foul language against Naidu. He said that KCR should be cautious in choosing the language while commenting against Naidu. Warangal had best of the language schools that could teach KCR on refining his utterances, he said. Speaking on the occasion, recent TDP entrant from TRS Dommati Sambaiah blasted Kadiam Srihari for `cheating' Dalits of Telangana by switching loyalties to TRS. Srihari prostrated before KCR, who was behaving like Dalit feudal lord. He said that Malas and Madigas had made many sacrifices in elevating Srihari as a minister. But Srihari turned out to be a self-promoting politician. He said that the TDP was in favour of categorization of SC reservations into A, B, C and D groups so that benefits would reach Madigas and other sub-communities. He hoped that his party would discuss on SC categorization at Mahanadu and a resolution would be passed in support of it. TD alleges KCR has nexus with Cong Adilabad: The Telugu Desam Party (TDP) on Saturday charged that Telangana Rashtra Samiti (TRS) president K Chandrasekhara Rao was colluding with the Congress to create hurdles for TDP to storm back into power. Participating in the party's Mahanadu at the district headquarters, TDP senior leader and Adilabad MP Ramesh Rathod came down heavily on KCR for `conspiring' against TDP's growth in Telangana region. It was KCR's `murky politics' that had become an obstacle for separate Telangana creation. KCR was plotting against the TDP and acting hand in glove with the Congress in a well planned manner, he accused. Rathod claimed that TDP's come back to power was inevitable. No party had the guts to confront the TDP in the next Assembly elections. Irrespective of plots by the TRS and the Congress, N Chandrabababu Naidu would become the next chief minister of the State, he claimed. The TDP jamboree was attended by a large number of activists from all parts of the district. Party district unit president Nagesh and Adilabad constituency in-charge Payala Sankar, minority cell State leader Unis and others addressed the Mahanadu. TDP stages rasta roko against KCR remarks Nizamabad: Activists of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) staged a rasta roko at Banswada in Nizamabad district on Saturday protesting against the remarks made by Telangana Rashtra Samiti (TRS) president K Chandrasekhara Rao against TDP supremo N Chandrababu Naidu. The TDP supporters criticised Chandrasekhara Rao for doubting Chandrababu's commitment for separate Telangana State. Chandrasekhara Rao had no right to ask their leader to prove his dedication for Telangana state, the agitators said. At Nizamabad district headquarters, MLC Arikela Narsa Reddy lambasted KCR. He said it was the TRS and its leader KCR who were cheating people of Telangana and not TDP. KCR had floated the party to safeguard his own interests. The TRS president was known for selling party tickets, he said. The MLC heckled Pocharam Srinivasa Reddy and Kadiam Srihari for their 'double standards.'
