The T20 World Cup is being co-hosted by Oman and the UAE and is scheduled to be played from Oct. 17 to Nov. 14. The final will be played at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium.

Ahead of the T20 World Cup 2021, India are one of the favourites to win the trophy this year. Virat Kohli and Co begin their campaign with the match against arch-rivals Pakistan on Oct. 24.

England
India and England have faced off against each other 3 times in the T20 World Cup. Out of which, India have won twice. In 2007, Yuvraj’s quick-fire fifty, which included 6 6s, helped India beat England by 18 runs. Five years later, India defeated England by 90 runs in Colombo. The two teams could meet in the knockout stage of T20 World Cup 2021.
Australia
India have a 3-2 lead in the head-to-head against Australia in the T20 World Cup. The three wins: semi-final clash in 2007, Group 2 game in 2014 and Super 10 group game in 2016. The Aussies defeated India in their meetings in 2009 and 2010 edition.
Bangladesh
India and Bangladesh have met thrice in the T20 World Cup and all the results have gone in the Men in Blue’s favour so far. After losing in 2009 and 2014, Bangladesh came close to defeating India in 2016. However, Dhoni-led India pulled off a 1-run victory.
South Africa
India and South Africa locked horns in each of the T20 World Cup editions from 2007 to 2014. The Proteas triumphed in the Super 8 fixture in 2009, but the rest of the games were won by India.
Pakistan
India and Pakistan have faced off against each other five times in the T20 World Cup, including twice in 2007. All the games have so far ended in India’s favour.
