Wife Among Four Arrested in Meghalaya Murder During Honeymoon, Say Police

Meghalaya police suspect Sonam Raghuvanshi of participating in her husband Raja's murder by employing three hitmen.
Meghalaya police chief I Nongrang revealed Monday that Indore resident Raja Raghuvanshi was killed on his honeymoon by hitmen who his wife Sonam had hired.
The DGP reported that Sonam gave herself up to police in Ghazipur, Uttar Pradesh and three other suspects were captured during overnight raids.
The SIT apprehended two more accused in Indore while they picked up an additional suspect from UP.
Sonam turned herself in at the Nandganj police station where authorities arrested her.
According to Nongrang the suspects acknowledged being hired by Raghuvanshi’s wife to carry out the honeymoon murder.
The current search operation in Madhya Pradesh seeks to capture additional suspects involved in the case.
