In South Western Railway 227 km of Railway track was doubled last year. The progress of doubling is much higher and faster compared to the national average in South Western Railway.
In terms of target, South Western Railway was best among Zonal Railways to have achieved highest percentage of target achieved.
An amount of Rs.1765 Cr has been booked under doubling over SWR.
