Mathura. Sanskriti University organized a Webinar on the Impact of Agnihotra & Yoga Science on Health to sensitize the people about the importance of yoga and how it can help the people in dealing with depression and anxiety caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.
The webinar was a culmination of the idea which was envisioned to sensitize the people about the Impact of Agnihotra & Yoga Science on Health to all strata of society.
The first session was delivered by Yoga Acharya Rajeev Kumar , Founder of Agnihotra Yagya Mission and Founder Member of Nav Yoga Mission. The Webinar was attended by Honourable Chancellor of Sanskriti University Dr. Sachin Gupta, Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Rana Singh and others
While delivering the session Rajeev Kumar said "Agnihotra is an Ayurveda Homa (fire) a practice that purifies and heals the atmosphere. The concept of healing fire has seen its genesis from the ancient science of Ayurveda.
In the modern world, people are gradually shifting towards organic food and Agnihotra is playing an essential part in organic farming. The ashes from Agnihotra are exceptionally beneficial for crops and plants and reverses the plant diseases.
Further, he added "practicing yoga comes with many benefits for both mental and physical health. Nowadays, yoga is becoming increasingly common as an adjunct therapy to improve the quality of life for many individuals.
In this time of global pandemic of COVID 19, immunity shall play a vital role to combat the menace of the deadly coronavirus. Most of the people rely on Yoga as a preventive mechanism. Yoga is one of the most effective and time-tested natural immunity booster that can lead to a healthy, and sickness-free body.
Chancellor Sachin Gupta said "We at Sanskriti University are committed to practicing Indian Medicine in general, and Ayurvedic Medicine in Particular".
We have been practicing Yoga and are consistently focusing on motivating all the stakeholders to practice Yoga to boost their immunity.
