PM Modi attends Sathya Sai Baba Jayanti celebrations, unveils commemorative coins

Prime Minister Narendra Modi participated in the Sathya Sai Baba Jayanti Utsavam, celebrated with great enthusiasm at Prashanth Nilayam in Puttaparthi.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi participated in the Sathya Sai Baba Jayanti Utsavam, celebrated with great enthusiasm at Prashanth Nilayam in Puttaparthi. During his visit, he paid respects at the Sathya Sai Maha Samadhi located in Sai Kulwant Hall, joined by notable figures including Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan, cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar, and actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.
At the event, Prime Minister Modi unveiled a commemorative ₹100 coin and four postage stamps honouring the life, teachings, and philanthropic efforts of Sathya Sai Baba. Following the unveiling, he addressed the gathering, while attendees reminisced about their connections with Sathya Sai Baba. Chief Minister Naidu praised Sathya Sai for his belief that serving humanity is akin to serving God, highlighting the numerous welfare initiatives he championed.
After the commemorative celebrations, Prime Minister Modi is scheduled to travel to Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, where he will inaugurate the South India Natural Agriculture Summit-2025. At this event, he will also disburse the 21st tranche of the PM-KISAN scheme, transferring over ₹18,000 crore to the accounts of 9 crore farmers nationwide.
