Bengaluru: Karnataka chief Minister BS Yeddyurappa said that the college student activist who raised slogans of Pakistan Zindabad at a rally against Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) on Thursday in Bengaluru should not be given bail. Hyderabad MP Asaduddin Owaisi was also present at the event and tried to stop the student-activist from saying "Pakistan Zindabad."
BS Yeddiyurappa pointed out that even Amulya's father had also said that he would not protect her.The Karnataka chief Minister said that it has been proved that Amulya has contacts with naxals and should be given proper punishment.
Sometime ago, Amulya had also heckled BJP MP Mahesh Vikram Hegde asking him to sing one-day Matram. A video of the incident went viral.

Amulya Leona's father condemned her pro-Pakistan slogans and said that he did not wish to contact her. He had advised her on several occasions in vain, he added.
