New Delhi: Union Home Minister on Tuesday, posted a tweet ridiculing Delhi Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) chief, Arvind Kejriwal's claims on an education revolution in Delhi schools. The video depicts a BJP delegation comprising Delhi's 7 MPs and others visiting schools in the national capital to show that many of them do not have basic infrastructure, contrary to AAP's assertions.
BJP leaders Manish Tiwari, Meenakshi Lekhi, Gautam Gambhir and others are seen going round the schools and talking to students. The video attempts to puncture holes in Kejriwal's claims on having ushered in a revolution in Delhi schools after having revamped the education system.

Responding to the Home Minister's video, AAP leaders said that the overhaul of Delhi schools was a work in progress. AAP leader, Madan Lal, told a television channel that as Arvind Kejriwal had pointed out Delhi's schools were performing exceptionally well. The pass percentage was 96% in government schools compared to 93% in private ones, he said.
Delhi Chief Minister and AAP supremo Arvind Kejriwal in a roadshow told the gathered that the Home Minister's video portrayed MCD schools in Delhi run by the BJP. The AAP chief said that the BJP was mobilising 200 MPs and many of its chief ministers and Union ministers to campaign in Delhi for the upcoming polls. He predicted that the BJP leaders will criticise the school system and the Mohalla clinics in Delhi, as also the quality of water, apart from other things.
The AAP chief accused the BJP of insulting the people of Delhi by belittling his work. He urged the crowd not to allow BJP leaders to humiliate them in this manner. Kejriwal asserted that his only fault was that he strove to ensure the all-round development of Delhi, as showcased by his work in the education and healthcare sectors.
