Berhampur: In a stirring spectacle of discipline, dedication and youthful resolve, 2,103 Agniveers marched into the fold of the Indian Navy during the Passing Out Parade (POP) of Batch 02/25 held at INS Chilka on Thursday.

The grand parade marked the triumphant culmination of 16 weeks of rigorous ab initio training, transforming civilians into mission-ready sea warriors. The passing out batch reflected the Navy’s inclusive and multi-dimensional strength, comprising 113 women Agniveers, 270 Senior Secondary Recruits (Medical Assistants), 44 Sports Quota Sailors and 295 Naviks of the Indian Coast Guard, all stepping forward in unison to answer the nation’s call.

As the columns of Agniveers marched past the Quarterdeck with clockwork precision and steely confidence, the Reviewing Officer lauded their impeccable drill and indomitable spirit. Addressing the young recruits, Vice Admiral Saxena congratulated them for embracing the call of service and exhorted them to remain vigilant, disciplined, adaptable and steadfast. Reiterating the Indian Navy’s timeless ethos of Duty, Honour and Courage, he reminded the Agniveers that these values must illuminate not only their professional journey but their entire lives.
