Together we will beat the invisible enemy!"
I am proud to announce that the United States will donate ventilators to our friends in India. We stand with India and @narendramodi during this pandemic. We're also cooperating on vaccine development. Together we will beat the invisible enemy!

President Trump's decision marks a reciprocal gesture following India's lifting of restrictions to export the antimalarial drug hydroxychloroquine. President Trump had strongly advocated the use of hydroxychloroquine in the fight against COVID-19.
In his media interaction earlier, President Trump observed that he valued Indian Americans as great scientists and researchers who are contributing to the development of a vaccine against the novel coronavirus.
President Trump added that the US is working very closely with India as well, referring to vaccine development. Donald Trump described Prime Minister Narendra Modi as a "very good friend." He also referred to his recent visit to India.
President Donald Trump is counting on the support of a sizeable number of Indian-Americans in his bid to get re-elected for a second term in the White House.
