In a tragic incident, a woman was brutally murdered by her husband over suspicion of an illegal affair in Jogulamba Gadwal district. This incident happened on Monday evening (November 25).

According to the police, Ramanjaneyulu from Gadwal got married to Renuka (22) of Vamanapalli village in Maldakal mandal two years ago. The couple has a one-year-old son. Ramanjaneyulu works with a local cellphone company.
For the past some time, he developed suspicion on his wife that she is having an extramarital affair with another man. With this, he planned to murder her. Recently, Ramanjaneyulu got separated from the joint family and shifted into a rented house near the outskirts of the town, where he implemented his plan on Monday evening.
On the incident day, he got into a heated argument with his wife and killed her by strangling her neck. Later flew away from the spot. On receiving the information, the police reached the crime scene, registered a case and investigating further.
