The momentum for the Bharat Bandh, a nationwide shutdown call opposing the Centre’s recently enacted farm laws, had already picked up in the erstwhile Warangal district on Tuesday.

Warangal: The momentum for the Bharat Bandh, a nationwide shutdown call opposing the Centre's recently enacted farm laws, had already picked up in the erstwhile Warangal district on Tuesday.

With the TRS Government also supporting the Bharat Bandh, all the people's representatives actively campaigned for the success of bandh for the last two days. With both the ministers – Errabelli Dayakar Rao and Satyavathi Rathod – leading the ruling party, all the people's representatives are set to lay siege to highways at 11 am.

Errabelli Dayakar Rao at Madikonda, Satyavathi Rathod in Mahabubabad and D Vinay Bhaskar at Mulugu X Road in the city to stage protests. Meanwhile, all the RTC buses remained off the roads in support of the farmers' bandh.
