Health Secretary reviews Warangal Super Speciality Hospital works

WARANGAL: Accelerate construction of the new Super Speciality Hospital in Warangal and complete it within the stipulated deadline while adhering to quality standards, Health, Family Welfare and Medical Education Department Principal Secretary Christina J. Chongtu, IAS, instructed officials on Monday.

Site visit and review

Accompanied by Director of Health Services Dr Vanita, Chongtu inspected the ongoing Super Speciality Hospital project in Warangal. On arrival, Warangal district collector Dr Satya Sharada and Hanamkonda district collector Chahat Bajpai greeted the Principal Secretary and presented a sapling.

After the welcome, Chongtu held a review meeting with officials on several health department matters. She examined the progress of the hospital’s construction works and sought details from officials on the medical facilities, infrastructure and other arrangements that will be operational once the hospital is ready.

Instructions to officials

The Principal Secretary directed that all necessary arrangements be completed in advance so that state-of-the-art medical services become available to the public without delay. She ordered that quality standards must be strictly maintained in the construction work and directed all concerned departments to work in coordination to ensure completion within the fixed timeline.

Officials from the Health Department and various construction-related departments participated in the visit.
