Vijayawada: The government employees play a key role in the administration, said government advisor Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy after inaugurating the website of the Andhra Pradesh NGOs Association here on Tuesday.
Sajjala said that Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddywas contemplating to solve all the problems of the NGOs in the coming days though it was delayed due to the financial constraints.
He complimented the efforts of the employees in serving people in the crucial time of pandemic in spite of the poor economic situation. He said that the employees have been cooperating with the government wholeheartedly during the crucial period. AP NGOs Association president Chandrasekhar Reddy appealed to the government advisor to take their problems to the notice of the Chief Minister to get them solved. He said that the Chief Minister assured the NGOs to solve all the problems by next April. Expressing concern over the inordinate delay in implementing the PRC recommendations, he said that it was high time it was implemented.
Chandrasekhar Reddy said that the association was against the conduct of elections during the time when more than 20,000 cases are reported every day. He said that the Election Commission will be held responsible if the employees became victims of coronavirus during the elections.
General secretary Bandi Srinivas Rao, AP JAC secretary general Joseph Sudhir Babu, Ch Purushottama Naidu, Ch Ajay Kumar, M Venkateswara Reddy, M Jagadish, Krupavaram, B Janaki, M Ratna Kumari, Nirmala Kumari, A Vidya Sagar, and representatives from all the 13 districts were present.
