Ongole: The birthday of Jana Sena Party president and Deputy Chief Minister Konidela Pawan Kalyan was celebrated with a big bike rally and cake-cutting programme in Ongole on Wednesday.
Ongole Urban Development Authority Chairman Shaik Riyaz and Ravisankar Group Chairman and party leader Kandi Ravishankar led the rally. The rally, which was held with a DJ system, started from Mini Stadium and passed through Nellore Bus Stand Centre, Church Centre, Trunk Road, Old Market, Bapuji Complex, Addanki Bus Stand and TDP office and reached Ravipriya Mall.
Later, at the function hall in Ravi Priya Mall, party workers watched a live telecast of JSP youth wing logo and anthem launch held at Pithapuram under the leadership of party Political Affairs Committee chairman Nadendla Manohar. Later they cut a cake and distributed among party ranks. Students of Pace College also cut a cake at the college.
Ongole Market Yard vice-chairman Prasad, Chanapathi Rambabau, Kalyan Muthyala, Bondila Sridevi, Rayani Ramesh and many other leaders and youth attended the event.
