Ongole: Dandu Asha Sree of Prakasam District entered the finals of the Under-17 Girls Singles Badminton event at the Amaravati Championship being held in Tirupati.
In the Semi-Final played on Wednesday, Asha Sree defeated Sushma Reddy of Nellore District in straight sets to book her place in the finals.
She won the first set 16-14 and the second set 15-8.
People of Prakasam District and badminton enthusiasts congratulated Asha Sree on reaching the Final and wished her well for the championship match.
