Collector P Raja Babu, MLAs, and others inspecting arrangements for Minister Nara Lokesh’s tour to Ongole
Ongole: District Collector P Raja Babu inspected the arrangements for the visit of HRD, IT&EC and RTG Minister Nara Lokesh to Ongole on Friday and told officials that there should be no shortcomings in the preparations.
He inspected the arrangements on Thursday along with MLC Mantena Venkata Satyanarayana Raju, MLAs Damachala Janardhana Rao, Dr Mukku Ugranarasimha Reddy and Maddipati Venkata Raju, AP Tourism Development Corporation Chairman Nukasani Balaji and others. Minister Lokesh will attend a Bhumi Puja for the construction of the Radisson Ravipriya Hotel at Maddiralapadu in Nagulappalapadu mandal and later attend a workers’ meeting in Ongole.
The Collector inspected the beautification work along the service road at KIMS Hospital Junction. Minister Lokesh will unveil statues of 20 prominent persons of the city at that location. He will also unveil a pylon related to the development works taken up under the AMRIT-2 scheme at Rangarayudu Cheruvu.
RDO Chandrasekhar Naidu, Ongole Municipal Commissioner Venkata Krishnaiah, Municipal Engineer Yesaiah and other officials took part in the inspection.
