Children’s Home girls tie rakhis to collector

Suryapet: Students from the Children’s Home in Suryapet district celebrated Raksha Bandhan with joy at the Collector’s Chamber on Friday, along with District Collector Tejas Nand Lal Pawar.

Girl students from the Children’s Home tied rakhis to the District Collector and conveyed their greetings.

Speaking on the occasion, the District Collector said that Raksha Bandhan symbolises love, affection, mutual respect, and protection between brothers and sisters. He wished the children of the Children’s Home success in their studies and encouraged them to move forward with discipline and achieve their higher goals.

Later, the Collector distributed sweets to the students and extended his Raksha Bandhan greetings. He participated in the celebrations with the children and filled the occasion with happiness.
